Obituary for Terrance R. "Terry" McCorkle
Terrance Robert “Terry” McCorkle, 68, of New Millport, passed away Monday June 19, 2017 at his residence.

Born February 28, 1949 in Clearfield, he was the son of John and Helen (McLaughlin) McCorkle. Mr. McCorkle was retired from Soult’s Wholesale in Clearfield, was a member of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville and was a member of the Indiana County Beagle Club. He was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

On August 29, 1970 in Northeast, PA, he wed the former Catherine G. Post who survives along with two sons. Brian D. McCorkle of Harrison Valley, PA and Michael P. McCorkle and wife Kristin of Elizabethville, PA.

Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Cohen and Rylie McCorkle, a brother Gerald McCorkle and wife Kathi of Virginia and two sisters Mary Jo Lansberry and husband Gary “Huck” of Curwensville and Patricia Duttry of Lemoyne, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Matthew, Michael and Steven McCorkle.

At the request of Mr. McCorkle there will be no public visitation and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church 306 Walnut Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
