Terry C. Smith
Clearfield: Terry C. Smith, 95, of Clearfield passed away Saturday April 25, 2026 at Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield.
Born January 17, 1931 in Franklin, PA she was the daughter of Sidney R. and Elma Clare (Terry) Collins. She had attended nursing school and worked as a nurse prior to her marriage to William Usher Smith in 1952. She then dedicated herself to her family for the next 74 years.
She was chairman of the Charity Ball in Clearfield for numerous years, and was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield
Terry is survived by two children Peter F. Smith and his partner Susan Kurtz of Clearfield, and Cynthia “Cyncy” Smith and her husband David Beadling of New Hampshire. Three granddaughters Esther Smith, Alexandra Brytz, and Katherine Brytz.
She was the last member of her generation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Usher Smith who preceded her in death on December 19, 2007. Three brothers Sidney R. Collins Jr., William Terry Collins, and Patrick Terry Collins. And a sister Sue Collins.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Deacon Robert Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
