Obituary for Thomas James "Tuck" Hudson
Tom “Tuck” was called upon by our Lord on August 19, 2016, at his residence in Dixon, Missouri. Formally of Grampian, PA, he was born in Clearfield, PA on October 7, 1973 to Barbara J. Ritzert (McCall) and Thomas A. Hudson, Jr.
Tom was a 1991 graduate of Curwensville High School. While in school, he was a letter winner in wrestling and golf, as well as a member of the Future Farmers of America. Tom loved the outdoors, especially fishing or hunting. He was also an expert dirt bike enthusiast. But most of all, Tom was a people person where he enjoyed any and all opportunities to spend time with friends and family. He was a caring and giving soul.
Tom is survived by his mother, Barbara and his little friend, Araya, from Dixon, Missouri; his father, stepmother, and stepsister, Thomas, Jo, and Jessica of Clearfield; his maternal grandmother Jean McCall of Grampian; brother and sister-in-law Shawn and Tarnee' Hudson of Richmond, Virginia; stepsister, stepbrother, and step-nephews Crystal (Ritzert), Kory, Nate, and Weston McAllister of Pearl, Illinois; sister, companion, and family Erika Hudson, Justin, Alyssa, Naomi, and Justin Jr. of Summerville, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald K. Ritzert of Dixon, Missouri; stepbrother, Benjamin N. Ritzert of Pittsburgh, PA; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Gladys “Glady” Hudson of Clearfield; his maternal grandfather, James A. “Pappy” McCall of Grampian; aunt Karen Solis (Hudson) and uncles Dale “Ace” Hudson and Ronald “Ronnie” Hudson, all of Clearfield.
Services will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. 300 State Street, Curwensville, PA, on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 6:00 PM with the Reverend Rick Butler officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM
