Obituary for Wallace Henry Sisco
Wallace H. Sisco Jr., 53, of Sheridan, WY, and formerly of New Millport, passed away Thursday January 6, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Sheridan, WY.
Born August 27, 1957 in Warwick, NY, he was the son of Wallace H. Sisco Sr. and Evelyn E. (Harris) McConnell. Mr. Sisco worked as a wrangler in the Sheridan, WY Stockyards. He was a US Marine Corp Veteran and was Baptist by Faith.
Surviving is his father of Monessen, his mother and stepfather Bruce McConnell of Reynoldsville, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Evelyn Dennis and husband Stan of Carnwath, Lawrence Sisco of Reynoldsville, Wanda Sullivan and husband Jim and Jerrold Sisco both of DuBois, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister Sandy Dennis and a brother John Sisco.
Services for Mr. Sisco will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, PA on Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 11 AM, with Pastor Kevin Orndorff officiating. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, DuBois, PA
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday January 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and Wednesday from 10 AM until time of services.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Temple Baptist Church Lincoln Drive DuBois, PA 15801 or the charity of the donor’s choice
