Obituary for William Dennis (Denny) Duckett
William Dennis “Denny” Duckett, 56, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday November 21, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
 
Born September 27, 1959 in Clearfield, he was the son of Richard H. Duckett and Lucinda (Anderson) Duckett Lightner.  Mr. Duckett was employed by TAFCO in Hyde as a sheet metal fabricator and was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.  He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local # 12 and he enjoyed his Jeep, dogs, fishing and auto racing.
 
He wed the former Karen L. Mansfield on September 26, 2015 in Curwensville who survives along with his mother of Hyde and 3 brothers Kevin Duckett and Richard Duckett Jr. and his wife Debra both of Hyde and Randall Scott Duckett and wife Nancy of Woodland.  Also surviving are a stepsister Diane Stapleford and husband Michael of State College and Robert and John Lightner both of Mahaffey.
 
He was preceded in death by his father and step father Francis O. Lightner.
 
Funeral Services for Denny Duckett will be held at the Curwensville United Methodist Church 602 State Street Curwensville, PA 16833 on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Dr. Robert S. Ludrowsky officiating. 
 
Friends will be received at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM.
 
The family suggests contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice
