Obituary for William Edward "Bill" Brown
William Edward Brown Jr., 83, of Wallaceton, passed away on the early morning of December 25, 2020 at the Embassy at Hillsdale Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsdale, PA.
Born March 11, 1937 in Olanta, he was the son of William Edward and Audrey Louise (Bressler) Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from the Iron Workers Union Local #772 in Clearfield and Pittsburgh. He was a life member of the N.R.A. and loved to hunt and fish.
On March 15, 1957 he wed the former Beverlee Graffius who preceded him in death on June 11, 2001. He was also preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Betty Jean Brown. He was the last member of his generation.
Surviving are three daughters: Lyne Cowder of Curwensville, Lisa Kirkwood and husband James of Clearfield and Louette Heichel and husband Phil of West Decatur.
Also surviving are six grandchildren: Jason Krise and wife Kelly, Trevor Krise and wife Robin, Kaylyn Robison and husband Anthony, Caleb Heichel, Jill Heichel and Micah Heichel and seven great grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation. Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, with the Reverend Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
