Obituary for Phillip Allen Hardin
Phillip Allen Hardin, 49, of Clearfield, and formerly of Tennessee, passed away Sunday November 27, 2011 at the Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, PA.
 
Born September 22, 1962 in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of Neil F. Sr. and Lola (Shomo) Hardin.  Mr. Hardin was a self-employed computer technician.  Mr. Hardin was a devout Christian, was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles, and had served as an MP in the U. S. Army.
 
Surviving is his mother of Clearfield, 2 daughters Nicole Batts and her husband Daniel and Lyndsay Hardin, both of Claysburg, 2 grandchildren Cassi and Jordan Batts, 2 brothers Jeff Hardin of Ohio and Eric Hardin of Clearfield, and a sister Phyllis Bush and her husband Roger of Jackson, MS., and his wife the former Susan (Blackwood) Hardin of Franklin, TN
 
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Neil F. Hardin Jr.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. Hardin will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Thursday December 1, 2011 at 11:30 AM, with the Reverend Isaiah Krause officiating.  Interment will be in the Mt. Joy Cemetery, Clearfield RD.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday November 30 from 6 to 8 PM, and Thursday from 9:30 AM until time of services.
 
Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home by members of the Clearfield Honor Guard.
