Obituary for Dorothy E. Miller
Dorothy E. Miller 86, a guest of Mt. Laurel Nursing Home in Clearfield and formerly of Curwensville passed away Sunday January 30, 2011 at Mt. Laurel Nursing Home in Clearfield.
Born December 10, 1924 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Walter B. and Dorothy (Hall) Miller. Ms. Miller was a banker, having worked for the former Curwensville State Bank in Curwensville for 30 years, and the former Keystone/Integra Bank in Clearfield for 13 years.Â
She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church, and also the GFWC Woman’s Club of Curwensville,
Surviving is a brother Charles Miller and his wife Bonnie of Harleysville, PA, and 3 nephews; Donald Miller and wife Judy of Clearfield, Fred Miller of Schwenksville, PA, and James Miller and wife Susan of Cherry Hill, NJ. Also surviving are 6 great nieces and great nephews; Donald Miller Jr. and Steven Miller both of Clearfield, Kate Anne Miller and Isabella Miller both of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Charles Miller and Julianna Miller both of Schwenksville, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters Ruth Evon Miller and Anna Belle Miller.
Memorial Services for Ms. Miller will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday February 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Dr. Robert S. Ludrowsky, officiating. Interment will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of services.
