Obituary for Michael Conrad Sexton
Michael Conrad Sexton. 21, of Clearfield, passed away Monday October 12, 2009 in Knox Township, New Millport.
Born June 22, 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of Bonnie Sexton. He was a 2007 graduate of Clearfield Area high School, and currently was a student at Slippery Rock University. He was employed summers at Kurtz Brothers in Clearfield. He had attended both Fruit Hill Presbyterian Church and St. Francis Roman Catholic Church.
He was active at the Clearfield YMCA, had played basketball for Clearfield High School and was an avid sports fan enjoying pro basketball, hunting, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandfather Raymond Witherow.
Surviving is his mother Barbara Kuntz of Clearfield, his stepfather Daniel Witherow and his wife Betsey of New Millport, his grandparents Blair and Betty Kuntz of Sykesville, his grandmother Ann Witherow of Clearfield, stepsisters Amy Witherow and Mikayla Ebeling, step brothers Matthew Ebeling and Zachary Witherow, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
A Memorial Service for Mr. Sexton will be held ay the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday October 17, 2009 at 8:00 PM, with the Reverend Msgr. H. Desmond McGee Jr. officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Fruit Hill Cemetery Ansonville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday October 17 from 6:00 PM until time of services at 8:00 PM.
The family suggests contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
