Obituary for Helen F. Painter
Helen F. Painter, 81, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday May 1, 2021 at Penn Highlands Hospital – DuBois.
She was preceded in death by her parents Steve and Rose (Tkacik) Fusko, her brother Steve Fusko, her sister Mary Clark and an infant Son.
Helen is survived by her husband Tom Painter, her son Paul (Denise) Painter, her daughter Lisa (Mike) Fetters, all of Curwensville. Five grandchildren Layni and Taylen Fetters; Karson (Kyle) Baroni and Tanner (Ashley) Kelly, all of Curwensville; and Devin (Brittany) Kelly of Morrisdale. Three step grandchildren: JT Confer of Williston, ND; Dale Confer of Lanse; and Dylan Confer of Curwensville; four great grandchildren: Liem and Owen Baroni; Noah and Archer Kelly; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Helen is also survived by a special friend Bobbi Fleck of Curwensville and her caregiver Amanda English of Woodland.
She is a 1957 graduate of Curwensville Area High School. She worked at various jobs and her most recent was with Kips Bus Service of Curwensville as a bus driver for several years and with the Curwensville Emergency Services for 10 years.
Helen was Roman Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville. She was loved and cherished by her family and she enjoyed spending her time with her family as well as going on family trips.
Family and friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville on Thursday May 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM, with the Reverend Father L. Stephen Collins as celebrant. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, Pennsylvania Chapter * 3001 Gettysburg Road * Camp Hill, PA 17011
