Obituary for Nancy Kay Irwin
Nancy Kay Irwin, 76, of Clearfield, passed away Friday evening February 11, 2022 at Penn Highland Hospital – DuBois.
Born June 13, 1945 in Tusseyville, Centre County, she was thew daughter of Thomas Cecil and Clara Naomi (Emigh) Irwin. Ms. Irwin had worked for the former Clearfield Cheese Co. in Curwensville, and was retired from Wendy’s International having worked as a Supervisor in the Call Center.
She was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School and was a member of the Curwensville Christian Church and the Curwensville L.O.O.M. Family Center #268.
Surviving are two daughters: K. Dawn Diazmercado of Columbus, OH and Tammy Spencer and husband Dudley of Irvona. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren: Taylor Diazmercado, Dudley Spencer III, Alysa Spencer, Philip Bloom, Jon Bloom, Tiffany Duncan, and Sandy Bloom; nine great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: James Irwin and wife Bess of Centre Hall, Caroline Quickel of Bellwood, Janet Irwin of Houtzdale, and Robert Irwin and wife Sandy of Grampian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons Ricky Allen Bloom, Charles A. Bloom and an infant son; two brothers Edward and Gordon Irwin, and a sister Arlene.
Funeral Services for Nancy Irwin will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 7:00 PM, with Reverend George Cannon officiating.
Family and Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until time of services at 7:00 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Orphans of the Storm * 412 Hill Street * Curwensville, PA 16833.
