Obituary for Eddie Kephart
Edward Domenici “Eddie” Kephart, 64, of Grampian and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday evening June 8, 2022 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born September 10, 1957 in Clearfield, he was the son of David L. Sr. and Edith Ann “Mickey” (Haversack) Kephart. “Eddie” was retired, having first worked at the former Howes Leather in Curwensville for twenty-three years and then for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for seventeen years. He was a member of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.
“Eddie” was living life to the fullest and enjoying life after his retirement and enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends. When he spoke, his words were few but mighty.
Surviving is his father of Curwensville, a brother and four sisters: David L. Kephart and wife Janice, Nora and Dave Unch, Debra Kelly and husband Thomas, Tammy Caber and husband Daniel, and Rosemary Larson and husband Timothy all of Curwensville as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a niece Catelynn C. Fleming.
Funeral Services for Eddie Kephart will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM, with Reverend Father Stephen Collins Officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery of Curwensville.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday June 18 from 12:00 Noon until time of services at 1:00 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in “Eddie’s” name to: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital * 262 Danny Thomas Place * Memphis, TN 38105.
