Obituary for David Andrew McNaul
David Andrew McNaul, 73, of Curwensville, passed away early Monday morning, July 25, 2022 at the Mt. Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.

Born October 8, 1948 in Clearfield, he was the son of Robert Andrew and Josephine (McKeehan) McNaul. David was a graduate of Penn State University with a teaching degree in Art. He was retired from the Curwensville Area School District after 30 plus years of service.

David had served 3 terms as a Curwensville Borough Council member and two terms as the Curwensville Mayor. He was a member of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, the Clearfield County Historical Society, the Clearfield Knights of Columbus, the Curwensville Education Association, the Pennsylvania State Education Association, the National Education Association, a lifelong Democrat and a member of the Clearfield County Democratic Committee.

He was a member, officer, and Past President of the Curwensville Alumni Association and a member of the Curwensville Bicentennial Committee.

Surviving are six siblings: Jared R. McNaul and his significant other Karen McKinley of Curwensville, Michael McNaul and wife Diane of Grampian, Patricia Roth of Waynesburg, Emma Lee Moore and husband Patrick of Casper, WY, Bridget Ferrando and husband William of Pompton Plains, NJ, and Elma McNaul and husband Dennis McCartney of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother Esther (Hart) Michaels McNaul, a sister Mary K. Bracken, and a brother-in-law Frank Roth.

Funeral Services for David Andrew McNaul will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Father Stephen Collins officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening July 29, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.
