Curwensville: Edward B. Allison 77 of Curwensville passed away Wednesday May 17, 2023 at his residence after a lengthy illness.


Born November 25, 1945 in Clearfield he was the son of Stanley and Elizabeth (Matthews) Allison. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He retired from Lucent Technologies which was formerly AT&T, and Bell Telephone as an inside technician and was also a lineman.


He attended the Curwensville United Methodist Church and was an avid Curwensville Football fan.


He is survived by 3 sons Randy Scott Allison of Olanta, Michael Wayne Allison (Monica) of Henryville, PA, and Steven K. Allison (Jackie) of Allport, PA. Grandchildren Stanley Allison, Alanis Allison, Catelin Allison, Michael Allison, Nicholas Allison, Katarina Patrick, Taylor Allison, Dylan Allison, Austin Sanders, Shianne Kephart, TJ Allison, and Alicia Hurley. 7 great grandchildren. Companion Linda Thomas, and a brother Denny Allison (Teddy) of the Philippines.


He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gene Allison, and a sister Patricia “Patty” Harner.


Funeral Services for Mr. Allison will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Monday May 22, 2023 at 2 PM with Rev. Steven Shields officiating. Military Honors will be held at the Funeral Home by members of the Clearfield Honor Guard.


Family and Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Monday May 22, 2023 from 12 PM until the time of services at 2 PM.


The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville Golden Tide Football Club 650 Beech Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
