Jeffery Dean McCully
Curwensville: Jeffery Dean McCully, 66 of Curwensville, went to be with his Lord
and Savior on Sunday April 14, 2024 after a courageous and lengthy battle with
cancer.
Born August 6, 1957 in Clearfield he was the son of Victor and Zelma (Witherite)
McCully.
On October 29, 1977, in Ansonville, he wed Peggy Jo (McCracken) McCully who
survives and resides in Curwensville along with three children and their children
Cynthia D. Beniquez of Curwensville and children Dresden McCully, Mayami
Beniquez and Zoila Beniquez, Jeffery S. McCully, wife Erica of Morrisdale and
their children Parker McCully and Lily McCully, and Katie J. Hollback, husband
Brian of Curwensville and their children Phoebe Hollback, Janah Rauch and
Ashlynn Bloom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as lifelong
friends Dave Hamilton and Russell Sloppy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Victor “Butch” McCully and
Gary “Murph” McCully. And an infant sister Cindy Lou McCully.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a very talented man
with many skills which he used to earn a living. He was a mason, fabricator, welder,
equipment operator and owner operator of a log truck.
Funeral services for Jeffery McCully will be held at the Zion Baptist Church
Ansonville, PA on Thursday April 18, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Richard Engle
officiating. Interment will be held in the Watts Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of
Curwensville, on Wednesday April 17, 2024 from 5-8 PM and on Thursday April 18, 2024 at Zion Baptist Church from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hahne Cancer Center
