Obituary for William Charles Freyer
Kerrmoor: William Charles “Bill” Freyer, 66, of Kerrmoor, passed away Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born March 24, 1952 in Clearfield, he was the son of Wayne Ace and Mae (Wood) Freyer. Mr. Freyer co-owned the Freyer Dairy along with his brother W. Earl Freyer and retired in 2012. He was a member of the Curwensville Alliance Church. He was a former Ferguson Township Supervisor, had been a Sunday School Teacher, a Church Elder and a former member of the Clearfield Agway Board.
On March 29, 1975 in Mahaffey, PA he wed the former Teresa S. Byers who survives along with two children. Scott Freyer and wife Jackie of Kerrmoor and Carrie Warren and husband Bryan of Curwensville.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Noah VonGunden, Joslynne Freyer, Andrew Freyer, Natalie VonGunden, Karleigh Freyer, Addison Warren and Gianna Freyer, and a brother and two sisters: W. Earl Freyer and wife Joyce of Kerrmoor, Karen Gallaher and husband Don of Berwinsdale and Dianne Carfley and husband Pat of Marron as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services for William “Bill” Freyer will be held at the Curwensville Alliance Church Susquehanna Avenue Curwensville, PA on Saturday October 20, 2018 at 2:30 PM, with the Reverend Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Watts Cemetery Bells Landing, PA.
Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services at 2:30 PM
