Obituary for Rick Edward Wilkinson
Rick Edward Wilkinson, 55, of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday morning December 18, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born March 28, 1963 in Clearfield, he was the son of Richard and Rita (Mayersky) Wilkinson. Mr. Wilkinson was an Auto Technician and also was a co-owner of the former Wilkinson’s Subaru in Curwensville. He was a licensed pilot, raised and loved German Shepherds and loved to work on cars.
Surviving is a sister Linda Wilkinson and her significant other Kent Forbush of both Curwensville and Manasota Key, FL, a brother Allen Wilkinson and wife Kathryn of Curwensville, 2 nieces Kaitlyn Wilkinson of Curwensville and Cassi Goodman of Goose Creek, SC and a nephew Travis Goodman and wife Kristy of Curwensville
Also surviving is his fiancée Wendy Elensky, who resided with him, and her son J.T. Elensky of Bloomington who referred to Rick as “Dad Rick”.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services for Rick Wilkinson will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 4 PM, with Janice Howell officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday December 21 from 5 to 8 PM and again on Saturday from 2 PM until time of services at 4 PM.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Orphans of the Storm 412 Hill Street Curwensville, PA 16833 or the Clearfield S.P.C.A. 275 21st Street Clearfield, PA 16830
