Kathryn R. Squiers
Brookville: Kathryn R. Squiers, 95, of Grampian passed away Friday August 15, 2025 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville after a lengthy illness.
Born August 5, 1930 in Akron, OH she was the daughter of Leo and Wonetau (Solliday) Price. She had worked at Guglielmi’s Drug store in Curwensville and was also a homemaker. She had attended Bible Fellowship Church in Luthersburg.
She is survived by two sons Robert Squiers and Timothy Squiers and his girl friend Michele Jury all of Grampian. And a grandson Devin Squiers of Grampian.
She was the last member of her generation.
On June 28, 1950 she wed George Squiers who preceded her in death on December 9, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Ronald Price.
Services for Kathryn Squiers will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday August 21, 2025 at 1 PM with Pastor Lowell MacDonald officiating. Interment will be held in the Friends Cemetery in Grampian.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Wednesday August 20, 2025 from 5-7 PM and on Thursday from Noon till the time of services at 1 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Susquehanna Community Church, 503 Filbert Street, Curwensville, PA 16833.
