DuBois: Drexel L. Pentz 91, of Curwensville passed away Sunday November 9, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born October 27, 1934 in Grampian he was the son of Ellsworth and Clara (Spencer) Pentz. He was a 1953 Curwensville Area High School graduate. For over 50 years he owned and operated Drexel Pentz Trucking and Pentz Coal Company.
He was well known for restoring and showing antique trucks and tractors. And was an avid collector of gas station memorabilia. He especially enjoyed family functions and his family. He will be sorely missed.
Surviving are five children: Nancy Rowles husband Ron, Dale Pentz wife Kelly all of Curwensville, Audie Pentz wife Donna, and Keith Pentz wife Joan all of Grampian and Robby Pentz wife Paige of Clayton, GA.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Shelby Rowles (Ashlee), Missy Pentz, Traci Pentz Weber (John), Dustin Pentz wife Tonya, Malinda Giovannelli (Angelo), Amanda Bloom (Jeremy), Ryan Pentz (Crystal), Michele Rhoe (James), Stefanie Pentz, and Kristen Kellar (Jake). 23 Great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Three sisters Dolores Spaid of Grampian, Erdine Shubert of Florida, and Shirley Fink of New Millport.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Norma Pentz who preceded him in death on January 31, 2012. And two brothers Arthur and Wayne Pentz
Family and friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Friday November 14, 2025 from 5-7 PM.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
