Obituary for Betty Lou Greendoner
Betty Lou Greendoner, 82, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday May 16, 2009 at the Clearfield Hospital. 
Born August 7, 1926 in Lock Haven, PA, she was the daughter of Daniel and Myrtle (Carstetter) Esenwine. Mrs. Greendoner had been employed by the former Kents Sportswear in Curwensville for 18 years and then by the former Rummings Dry Cleaning in Curwensville for 5 years. She was a member of the Grampian Church of God.
 
On March 28, 1947 in Lock Haven, she wed Kinley A. Greendoner Sr., who preceded her in death on October 12, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers Daniel, Paul, and John Esenwine. She was the last member of her generation.
 
Surviving are 2 children Kinley A. “Buzzy” Greendoner Jr. and Carol Ann McGarry and her husband Terry both of Curwensville. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. To her family, she will always be remembered as “Goober”
 
She will be sadly missed by her little dog Scrappy which she called “Baby Girl”.
 
Services for Mrs. Greendoner, will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Tuesday May 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Gust J. Maderia Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomington Cemetery, Bloomington, PA.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday May 18, from 6 to 9 PM, and on Tuesday from 10 AM till the time of services at 11 AM.
