Obituary for Beverly L. Neeper
Curwensville: Beverly L. Neeper, 80, of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday January 13, 2015 at Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born December 10, 1934 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Clarence T. and Thelma Elvena (Dunlap) Wise. Mrs. Neeper had worked at the former Kantar’s Store in Curwensville and was retired from the former Clearfield Cheese Co. in Curwensville.
She was a member of the Curwensville First Baptist Church in Curwensville, was a member of the Susquehanna Campers Association, was a former Girl Scout Leader, and enjoyed crocheting.
On March 28, 1953 in Curwensville, she wed Blair Dorsey Neeper who preceded her in death on September 28, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ruth Uncles, and brothers Wayne and Gene Wise. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are two daughters Deborah Ann Nelson and husband Kim of Clearfield and Brenda Lee Brubaker and husband Robert of Brockway. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Andrew and Matthew Nelson and Eric Brubaker and 3 great grand-
children Anderson and Autumn Nelson and Jackson Brubaker.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Neeper will be held at the Curwensville First Baptist Church Susquehanna Avenue Curwensville, PA on Friday January 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday January 15 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and again on Friday at the church from 1 to 2 PM.
