Obituary for Carol Ann Shaw
Carol A. Shaw, 61, of Grampian, passed away Wednesday July 15, 2009 at the Clearfield Hospital after a lengthy illness. Â
Born July 30, 1947 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of Harold and Esther (Fleck) Shaw. She was employed at H.R. Woolridge Dimeling & Schrot Insurance Company. She was a member of the Hepburnia United Methodist Chruch. Â
She is survived by her mother Esther Shaw of Curwensville RD and her companion Henry Knepp, A brother H. Dennis Shaw and his companion Debora Pentz of Grampian and a Sister Janice Leonard and her husband Steve of Curwensville RD. Nieces and Nephews Jennifer Guiffrie and her husband Brandon, Susan Shaw and her fiancée Brian Casher, Becky Blackburn and her husband Steve, Wyatt Shaw and his wife Michelle, Will Shaw and his companion Corrine Lincolnfelter, Brian Leonard, and Lori Hobbs Â
She was preceded in death by her father. Â
Services for Carol Shaw will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Saturday July 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Emmett Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery Grampian, PA. Â
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Friday July 17, 2009 from 6-9 PM and on Saturday from 9 till the time of services at 11:00 AMÂ Â
The family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the Hepburnia United Methodist Church. Â
