Obituary for Carol Jane Casher
Carol Jane Casher, 72, of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday January 3, 2018 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born August 13, 1945 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of Alfred and Deloris (Murray) Young. Mrs. Casher had worked for the former Shortway Products in Clearfield and was retired from the Bayer Clothing Group as a seamstress. She was a member of the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
She was wed to William H. Casher Jr. who survives along with her mother of Clearfield and 6 children. William H. Casher III, Theodore “Ted” Casher and Jeremy Casher and wife Lindsay all of Clearfield; Maggie Vicary and husband Dennis and Jason Casher both of Curwensville; and Charlene Schultz and husband Jeff of Hyde.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, a great grandson and 6 brothers and sisters. Wilma Wisor and husband Edward of West Decatur, Arlan Young and wife Cindy and Raymond Young and wife Carol both of Milton, PA, Jewel Bruce of Tioga, PA, Arlene Thompson and husband Gene of Florida and Faith Millender and husband Greg of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, a son Shannon Casher, 2 brothers Skip and Alan Young and a sister Fawn Young.
There will be no public visitation.
Funeral Services for Carol Casher will be held at the Hyde Wesleyan Church on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM, with the Reverend Stevan Sheets officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery Woodland, PA.
Friends will be received at the Church from 12:00- Noon until time of services at 1:00 PM.
