Obituary for Dave Lee Curry
Dave Lee Curry, 72, od Denison, TX, passed away on May 4, 2022 in Denison.
Born June 14, 1949 in Curwensville, PA he was the son of the late W. Dean Curry and Alice (Kramer) Curry.
Surviving are daughters Christine Batt and Jana Wood and husband Brian, both of Denison, TX as well as three grandchildren.
In addition, he is survived by three brothers and a sister: H. Dean Curry; Don Curry and wife Barbara; Barry Curry and wife Pam; and Barbie Curry all of Curwensville as well as several nieces and nephews.
Dave was a 1969 graduate of Curwensville Area High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as a Civil Engineering Specialist in the 4780th Air Defense Wing at Perrin AFB, TX. The 4780th was a part of the Aerospace Defense Command which protects the U.S. against hostel aircraft and missiles. He served in the military for six years.
He was employed as a supervisor for Safeway Food Products until his retirement.
Funeral Services are be handled be the American Funeral Services in Denison, TX.
The family suggests any memorial contributions in Dave’s memory be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
