Obituary for Dolores J. O'Dell
Dolores J. O’Dell 70, of Curwensville passed away Tuesday March 30, 2010 at Ridgeview Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.’
Born January 22, 1940 in Clearfield she was the daughter of Herbert and Esther (Lines) Derrick. She had worked as a clerk in retail at County Market grocery store and at Franks Nursery. She also worked at the Curwensville Public Library.Â
She is survived by her husband Charles H. O’Dell of Curwensville, her  mother Esther Derrick of Clearfield, 3 children Michael D. Tripp and his wife Kelly of Livingston TN, Barbara Noone and her husband Douglas of Curwensville, and Thomas Tripp and his wife Sherry of Mahaffey. 5 step children Scott Swatsworth and his wife Gina, Diane Miller and her husband Ed, Robin O’Dell, Carl O’Dell and his wife Marie, and William O’Dell all of Clearfield. 8 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren. A brother Stanley Derrick and his wife Mary of Mahaffey, and 2 sisters Sandra Duplicki and her husband Gene of Grampian, and Joyce Neal and her husband Ronnie of Lake City FL.
She was preceded in death by her father.
At the request of Mrs. O’Dell there will be public viewing. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville Public Library 601 Beech Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
