Obituary for Elmer Park Erhard Sr.
Elmer Park Erhard Sr., 79, of Levittown, PA. and formerly of the Curwensville, PA area, passed away Monday February 13, 2012 at his residence. Born June 7, 1932 in Curwensville, PA, he was the son of Park and Agnes (Haversack) Erhard.  Mr. Erhard was retired from U S Steel in Fairless Hills, PA, and also had worked for the Bucks County Courier Times Newspaper.  He was a U S Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. On April 24, 1955 in Kellytown, PA, he wed the former Dolores Coder who survives along with 3 children.  Elmer P. Erhard Jr. and wife Kathy, Thomas Erhard and wife Michele, and Cindy Erhard all of Levittown, PA.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a sister and brother.  Robert Erhard and wife Suzanne of White Plains, NY and Mae Way of Levittown, PA.. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services for Mr. Erhard will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. 300 State St. Curwensville, PA. on Friday February 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM. With the Reverend Charles M. Lee Jr. officiating.  Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery New Millport, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday February 16. 2012 from 6 to 8 PM, and Friday from 11 AM until time of services. The family suggests contributions be made to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Food bank 9172 New Falls Road Fallsington, PA 19054  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chidboyfuneralhome.com.  The Chester C.
