Obituary for Eric Boyd Sunderland
Eric Boyd Sunderland, 51, of Curwensville, passed away Thursday October 29, 2009 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born October 31, 1957 in Canton, OH, he was the son of Roy Charles and Kathryn Lee (Chelgren) Sunderland. Eric loved hunting and fishing, and especially his Beagle pet dogs.
Surviving are his parents of Curwensville, with whom he made his home with, a brother Charles Lee Sunderland at home, and a sister Kathryn Cain and her husband Dale of Lewisville, OH. Also surviving are 4 nieces and nephews, 8 great nieces and great nephews, and 3 great great nieces and great great nephews.
He was preceded in death by twin infant sister and brother.  Renee Elizabeth Sunderland and Reynold Boyd Sunderland.
Services for Eric will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday November 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Emmett Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday November 1, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and Monday from 12 Noon until time of services.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Clearfield County S.P.C.A. 541 Graham Station Road Philipsburg, PA 16866.
