Obituary for Florence L. Clark
Florence L. Clark, 86, a resident of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, and formerly of Hyde, passed away early Sunday morning November 11, 2012 at the center.
 
Born March 16, 1926 in Smithmill, Guelich Twp., she was the daughter of Lawrence E. and Susan (Gillimen) Lytle.  Mrs. Clark was first employed by Sylvania Electronics in Clearfield and then was employed by Clearfield Cheese Co. in Curwensville, retiring after 32 years of service.  She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.
 
On November 7, 1946 in Martinsburg, WV, she wed Elvin William Clark who preceded her in death on March 2, 1982.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Kathi Bowery, brothers Nathaniel, William, Rip, Gerald, and Lawrence and sisters Daisey, Thelma, Mary, Margaret, and Pearl.
 
Surviving are 4 daughters: Barbara J. Lingle and husband Fred of Clearfield, Sandra E. Bowery and husband Robert Jr. of Curwensville, Marlene S. Clark of DuBois, and Moneice D. VanEdgom and husband Paul of Goodyear, AZ.
 
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Jamie Smith and husband John of Williamsburg, JoAnna McClure and husband David of Curwensville, and William Rickus and fiancée Whitney of State College, 4 great grandchildren Erika, Nathaniel, Aspen, and Saxton, a brother Ira Lytle and wife Donna of Unionville, OH, and a brother-in-law Houston Wise of Akron, OH.
 
At the request of Mrs. Clark, there will be no public visitation.  Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Reverend Dr. Robert Ludrowsky officiating.  Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
 
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Curwensville United Methodist Church 602 State St. Curwensville, PA 16833, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
