Obituary for Frederick Blair Bailor
Frederick Blair Bailor of Niagara, NY, passed away Saturday December 20, 2008 at his residence,
He was born March 3, 1917 in Curwensville; he was the son of J. William and Pearl (Shively) Bailor. Mr. Bailor was employed by the former International Graphite Co. for over 25 years. He was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose and was an honorary member of the Curwensville VFW Post 842. He was a graduate of Curwensville High School.
 
On January 11, 1941 in Curwensville, he wed the former Helen Marie London who survives along with 3 children: Thomas Bailor and wife Elizabeth of Morrisdale, William Bailor and wife Joan of Lewiston, NY, and Debra Bailor of Niagara. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren Thomas Bailor and his late wife Holly, John Bailor and wife Rhonda, Amy Utley and husband Edward, James Bailor, and Timothy Bailor and wife Karrie, seven great grandchildren, and a brother Chester “Perch” Bailor of Curwensville.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Clifford “Buss” Bailor.
 
There will be no public visitation.
 
Graveside services for Mr. Bailor will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville, on Saturday May 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM, with the Reverend Emmett Anderson officiating.
 
The family suggest contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Niagara Hospice.
