Obituary for George Fredrick Reed
George Fredrick Reed, 51, of Curwensville, passed away Sunday evening September 9, 2012 after a lengthy illness.
Born October 29, 1960 in Clearfield, he was the son of John W. Sr. and Donna M. (Hauck) Reed. Mr. Reed had been a truck driver having last worked for Reed Trucking of Curwensville. He was Baptist by Faith.
Surviving is his mother of Curwensville, 3 children Heather Weitoish, Anthony Reed and Nicholas Reed, all of Philipsburg, PA, 3 grandchildren, a sister Ruth Breth and her husband Paul of Grampian, 3 brothers John W. Reed Jr. and his wife Deborah of Clearfield and James Reed and Kenneth Reed and his wife Gail both of Curwensville. Also surviving is a half sister Donna Jean Bloom and her husband Albert of Chestnut Grove.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Jane Reed.
At the request of Mr. Reed, there will be no public visitation and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Clearfield Hospice “Circle of Friends” c/o 286 Pauline Drive Clearfield, PA 16830
