Obituary for Glenn W. Ardery
Clearfield: Glenn W. Ardery, 80, of Clearfield, passed away Thursday March 1, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital. Born March 24, 1931 in Clearfield he was the son of Glenn C. and Stella (McCloskey) Ardery. He was a U.S. Airborne Veteran of The Korean War.  A 1950 graduate of Clearfield Area High School.  He was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church in Clearfield. He was employed as a Laborer at Clearfield Clay, and was Owner/Operator of Crawford Door Sales where he retired after 30 years in business. On April 13, 1954 in Winchester, VA he wed Alice I. Knepp Ardery who survives along with 5 children Donald Ardery and his wife Pam of Chambersburg, Debra Harris and her husband Thomas of Clearfield, Terry Ardery and his wife Barbara of Finley, OH, Randy Ardery of Freemont, OH, and Linda Cutler of Clearfield. 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. And a sister Evelyn Pentz of NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Helen Hugar and an infant brother. At the request of Mr. Ardery there will be public visitation or services. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Bradford Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Emmanuel Methodist Church 1010 Dorey Street,  Clearrield, PA 16830.
