Obituary for John A. Harris
John A. Harris, 54, of Curwensville, and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Wednesday July 2, 2014 at his residence.

Born May 10, 1960 in Philipsburg, he was the son of Ray Harris and Patricia (Quade) Harris Bouch. He had served in the Army National Guard for several years. He was currently employed by Wickett and Craig of America in Curwensville, and prior to that worked for Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital for 11 years.

Surviving is his father of Clearfield, his mother and stepfather George Bouch of LaJose, a daughter Jody Rice of LaJose, a son John M. Harris of Niagara Falls, NY,  and his fiancée’ Debra Straw of Curwensville.Â

Also surviving are 4 grandchildren Dominic, Heather, Ben, and Skylar (Pappy’s little sweetheart) and a brother Ken Harris and wife Sue of Hyde as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and 5 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and a brother Ray A. Harris.

At the request of Mr. Harris there will be no public visitation. There will be a public Memorial Gathering on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM, at the LaJose United Methodist Church Social Hall on Market Street in LaJose.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Debra Straw in care of the Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. 300 State Street Curwensville, PAÂ 16833
