Obituary for John Michael Biancuzzo
John Michael Biancuzzo, 77, of Curwensville, passed away Friday May 13, 2011 at the home of his daughter Michele Litten in Bellefonte, after a brief illness. Â Â
Born May 8, 1934 in Clearfield he was the son of Joseph and Lucy (Maloney) Biancuzzo. He was employed as a salesman for Clearfield Hardware for 33 years then worked for Dotts Motor Company of Clearfield where he retired after 10 years of service. He was Baptist by Faith.
On February 8, 1978 he wed the former Kathleen A. Pistilli who survives along with a daughter Michele Litten and her husband Chris of Bellefonte and a granddaughter Sarah Grace Litten. Also surviving are a brother Philip Biancuzzo of Clearfield and a sister Grace Catolina and her husband John of Morrisdale, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers Joe, Frank, Anthony, Sam, and Carmen Biancuzzo and 2 sisters Mary Shanechuck, and Nicolette Lena Casher.
Funeral Services for Mr. Biancuzzo will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday May 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Bill Parks officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery Curwensville, PA.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM and on Friday from 9AM until time of services
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Logan Fire Company #1 of Bellefonte PO Box 26 Bellefonte, PA 16823.
