Obituary for Judy Marie London
Judy Marie London, 54, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Tuesday morning May 22, 2012 in Grampian.
Born December 27, 1957 in Grampian, she was the daughter of John Rea and Virginia (Hess) Rea Weisgarber. Mrs. London was self employed having operated a Landscaping business, an Embroidery business, and also had worked in the Oil and Gas Leasing and Titling business.
She was attending the Grampian United Methodist Church, was a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeder and Exhibitors Association of North Carolina, and was a member of the Greater Charlotte Landscaping Association.
Mrs. London had also knitted caps for patients at both St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and the Nathaniel Yingling Cancer Center in Clearfield.
On August 30, 1998 in Charlotte, NC, she wed Boyd A. London who survives along with 2 step children: Tonya Deal and husband Markham and Ryan London and wife Holly both of Clearwater, FL, 5 step grandchildren, a brother Ronnie “Dak” Rea of Clearfield, a sister Colleen Luzier and husband Tom of Bigler, and her stepfather Cal Weisgarber of Grampian.
Private Funeral Services for Mrs. London will be held at the convenience of the family in the Chapel at Friends Cemetery in Grampian with the Reverend Emmett Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Orphans of the Storm c/o 412 Hill Street Curwensville, PA 16833 or St. Jude’s Memorial Research Hospital Memphis, TN.
