Obituary for Kathleen Lorraine Johnston
Kathleen Lorraine Johnston, 82, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday February 16, 2019 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born March 24, 1936 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Charles and Lydia (Turner) Campbell. Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker.
On March 23, 1957 she wed Boyd Elkin Johnston who survives along with 4 children: Randy Johnston and wife Cheryl of Rockton, Jill Wasilko and husband Nick of Chester Hill, and Ryan Johnston and wife Mandy and Sheree Hunt and husband Earl Jr., both of Curwensville.
Also surviving is a daughter-in-law Sheila Johnston of Clearfield, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a sister Elizabeth Snyder and husband William and a brother Charles Campbell and wife Sandra both of Curwensville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Boyd Robert Johnston.
Funeral Services for Kathleen Johnston will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday February 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend John F. White officiating. Interment will be in the McClure Cemetery in Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday February 21 from 5 to 8 PM and again on Friday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Orphans Of the Storm 412 Hill Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
