Obituary for Lilyan Ruth Beauseigneur
Lilyan Ruth Beauseigneur, 84, formerly of Clearfield. passed away Monday March 8, 2021 at St Barnabas Arbor at Valencia Woods in Valencia, PA.
Born October 19. 1936 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of James and Catherine Jane (Kephart) McLaughlin. Mrs. Beauseigneur was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She volunteered for many organizations including: the Clearfield Hospital, St. Francis Church and St. Francis School, the American Heart Association, Voter Polling Stations, and the former Junior League of Clearfield.
She first wed Robert Beausiegneur and then wed Richard Nelson and was preceded in death by both and also her parents.
Surviving is a son Joseph Beauseigneur and his wife Pamela, three grandchildren Rob, Lauren and Kaitlin and 3 great grandchildren.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. in Curwensville, with the Reverend Father L. Stephen Collins officiating. Interment was held in the Calvary Cemetery in Clearfield.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to: Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital; www.givetochildrens.org; NICU Unit; Tribute - in honor of Anna Beauseigneur.
