Obituary for Maida C. Moore
Maida C. Moore, 87, of Grampian, passed away Friday December 22, 2017 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital after a brief illness.
Born October 1, 1930 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Murray and Velda (Amon) Condon. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and also was retired from the former Clearfield Cheese Co. of Curwensville.
In 1948 she wed Robert M. Moore who preceded her in death on December 26, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister Esther Condon, a brother Richard “Dick” Condon as well as a young sister and brother.
Surviving are 5 children: David R. Moore and wife Mary Ann of Richard, VA, Gary M. Moore of Olanta, Dennis K. Moore of Windsor, OH, Scott J. Moore and wife Linda of Rockton and Patricia L. Moore of Lombard, IL.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and a brother. Wava Condon and Russell Condon both of Clearfield and Helen Williams of Sanborn
Funeral Services for Maida Moore will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Scott Schultz officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM.
