Obituary for Martha Louise Harman
Martha Louise Harman 73, of Curwensville passed away Tuesday September 22, 2009 at Marion Manor Personal Care home after a lengthy illness.
Born April 17, 1936 in Clearfield she was the Daughter of Willard and Anna Blanche (Rafferty) Clapsaddle. She had been employed at Kents Sportswear for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church in Grampian.
On September 23, 1967 in Virginia she wed Russell Harman who survives along with 3 children Edward Hensley and his wife Sandy of Ephrata, PA, John Hensley and his wife Joan of Clearfield, and Susan Breth and her husband John of Terre Hill, PA. Also surviving are 3 step children Jeff Harman, Greg Harman and his wife Louisa all of CT, and Randy Harman of FL.
In Addition there are 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters. Â Tom Clapsaddle and his wife Pauline and Joan Maines and her husband Willard all of Grampian, Vicki Shirey of OH, Peg Russell of AZ, Diane Philips and her husband George of Elmira, NY, and Isabelle Maitre of Curwensville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Chruch of Grampian, on Friday September 25, 2009 at 10 AM with Father Mark J. Mastrian officiating. Â Interment will follow in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery of Grampian.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Thursday September 23, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Friday from 9-9:30 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
The Rosary will be recited at 3 PM Thursday with a Scripture Vigil Service to be conducted at 8:30 PM Thursday both at the funeral home.
