Obituary for Nancy Ann Davies
Nancy Ann Davies, 78, of New Millport, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2016 at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Born December 18, 1937 in Altoona, she was the daughter of William J. and Geraldine (Norris) Hallman. Mrs. Davies was the former Tax Collector for the Borough of Lansdowne in Delaware County, PA. She was a member of the Professional Woman’s Association.

On July 2, 1966 she wed Richard J. Davies Jr. who preceded her in death on June 9, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Kathryn Ritter.

Surviving are 6 children William Davies, Karen Scurlock, Joseph Davies, John Davies, Nancy Mayro and Richard J. Davies III as well as 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

At the request of Mrs. Davies there will be no public visitation. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery in New Millport, PA.
