Obituary for Norman L. Greenawalt
Norman L. Greenawalt, 91, of Clearfield, and formerly of DuBois, passed away Monday January 4, 2021 at Mt. Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
Born November 2, 1929 in Shippenville, PA, he was the son of Fred Milton and Mabel Goldie (Hale) Greenawalt. Mr. Greenawalt had been a salesperson having worked for: Gulf Oil then Chevron Oil, the former Penn Furniture, the former Bremen’s Transportation, and was retired from the former Fred Diehl Motors in Clearfield.
He was a Naval Veteran of the Korean War, was a member of Lodge #540 B.P.O.E. Elks in Clearfield, a member of the Clearfield American legion Post #6 and was a former member of the Clearfield Lodge #314 F. & A. M.
Surviving is his daughter Christina Hadvabne of Clearfield, two granddaughters Tiffany Hadvabne of Pittsburgh and Nicole Clyde and husband Cody of Curwensville, two great grandchildren Brinley and Adessa Clyde and two sisters Kathryn and Arvella.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Duane, Fred, and James.
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, there will be no public visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
