Obituary for Patricia Ann Smith
Patricia Ann Smith, 60, of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday afternoon January 3, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center, West.
 
Born April 3, 1951 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Thomas Sr. and Lucille (Tomica) Mayersky.  She was a homemaker and had worked for the former Kent Sportswear in Curwensville.  She was a member of St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.
 
Patty loved her grandchildren and her pet dogs Sadie and Winsten.  Patty was a very outgoing and loving person, making friends with whomever she met.
 
Surviving are her 3 children Thomas Smith, Anna Hepfer and Joseph Smith all of Curwensville, grandchildren Danielle and Meghan Hepfer, Rachel, Joshua and Austin Smith and Morgan Patterson, a brother Thomas “Moose” Mayersky Jr. and his wife Candy of Millersville, 3 nieces and nephews, and her companion Dennis Duckett of Curwensville.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert Smith whom she wed in 1971.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church 306 Walnut St. Curwensville, on Friday January 6, 2012 at 10:30 am, with the Reverend Father Mark J. Mastrian as celebrant.  Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Curwensville.
 
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc., Curwensville on Thursday January 5 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Friday morning from 9 to 10:15 AM, when the procession will depart for the church.
 
A Scripture Vigil Service will be conducted Thursday evening at 7:45 PM at the funeral home.
 
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
