Obituary for Patricia L. Bowman
Patricia L. Bowman, 74, of Olanta, passed away Saturday November 18, 2017 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born December 2, 1942 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Floyd and Edith (Hoffer) McCool. Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker and was retired from the “The Progress” newspaper as a proof reader. She was a member of the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church and a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.
On August 27, 1960 in Winchester, VA, she wed Sherman Bowman who survives along with 2 children: Rodney Bowman and wife Tracy of Clearfield and Kimberley Bloom and husband Gary of NC. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: John and Jason Bowman and Morgan and Emma Bloom as well as a brother Thomas McCool and wife Janice and a sister Connie Luzier and husband Fred both of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Jodi Bowman.
At the request of Mrs. Bowman, there will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery-Glen Richey.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either: The American Cancer Society 108R N. Second Street Suite 1B Clearfield, PA 16830 or the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church 117 Mapes Street Clearfield, PA 16830.
