Obituary for Phyllis May Cameron
Phyllis May Cameron, 69, of Clearfield, passed away Thursday November 24, 2022 at Penn Highlands Hospital – DuBois.
Born February 11, 1953 in Hackettstown, new Jersey, she was the daughter of Arthur John Cameron and Leoda (Compton) Cameron Hildabrandt. Phyllis had been a loan officer for the East Stroudsburg Savings and Loan and was retired from Fullington Auto Bus Company. She was a member of the Pink Ribbon Sisters.
She had wed Chester Schroder who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Fred Hildabrandt, and a brother Charles Cameron.
Surviving is a daughter Kristine Williams of Clearfield, a son-in-law Matthew Williams of Clearfield, and two grandchildren: Amanda May Williams and Michael Marquis Williams both of Clearfield.
Funeral Services for Phyllis Cameron will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Sunday December 4, 2022 at 4:00 PM, with the Reverend Dr. George R. Cannon officiating. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery in Glen Richey.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 until time of services at 4:00 PM.
