Obituary for Ralph John Palmer Jr.
Ralph John Palmer Jr., 65, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday January 22, 2022 at his residence.
Born October 6, 1956 in Clearfield, he was the son of Ralph John Sr. and Beverly (Kavelak) Palmer. Mr. Palmer was a 1974 graduate of Curwensville Area High School and was retired from Guelich/Orica Explosives as a Driller’s Assistant, and prior to that had worked for the former Berg/Dupont Electronics in Clearfield. He was Roman Catholic by faith.
Surviving are five children: Ralph J. Palmer III of South Williamsport; Joshua S. Palmer and wife Aubrie, Jeremy L. Palmer and Cody S. Palmer all of Grampian, and Elizabeth Palmer of Curwensville. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren; a sister and a brother: Barbara J. “BJ” Billotte and husband Mark of Cincinnati, OH and Kurt Palmer and wife Kathy of Curwensville; as well as several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Kathy Collins Gillen, and 3 nephews: Kyle Billotte, Jed Collins, and Marty Collins Jr..
Funeral Services for Ralph Palmer Jr. will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday February 5, 2022 at 4:00 PM, with the Reverend Stephen D. Shields, officiating.
Friends and Family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of services at 4:00 PM.
