Obituary for Rosemary Paul Bonsall
Rosemary Paul Bonsall, 86, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, passed away on February 23, 2012. Rosemary was born on June 8, 1925, in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Charles James Paul and Eva Shaffer Paul Schalk. Rosemary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered with love for her beauty, her kindness, her charm and her strong spirit. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lynn Bonsall.  She is survived by her loving children, Cheryl DeBlasi and her husband Robert, Richard Bonsall and his wife Janet, Stephen Bonsall and his wife Lisa; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Gregory, Melissa, Richard, Victoria and Stephen; and four great-grandchildren, Althea, Svea, Benjamin and Reese. Rosemary is also survived by a host of family members and friends who remember her with great affection. Whether called Aunt Ro, Gammy, Mrs. Bonsall or simply Mom, Rosemary was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Rosemary retired in 1981 after 16 years as Assistant to the Registrar-Rutgers University. After retirement, Rosemary and Richard owned and operated Wholesale for Kids in Curwensville, Pennsylvania, with David and Carol Bonsall. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, from 6 PM until 8 PM and on Tuesday, February 28, from 10 AM until 11 AM at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc.  300 State St.  Curwensville, Pennsylvania 16833. Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonsall will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at 11 AM at the Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Robert Ludrowsky officiating. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian, PA. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chidboyfuneralhome.com.  The Chester C.
