Shirley Ann Swatsworth 73, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday March 3, 2012 at her residence.Born August 1, 1938 At Egypt, Bradford Township, she was the daughter of Robert and Nancy (Krebs) Graham. She had been employed as a manager at the former Winky’s Restaurant in Clearfield, had worked at the former Clearfield Cheese Co. in Curwensville, had worked at Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville and also had been a homemaker.On February 14, 1956 in Curwensville, she wed Richard A. Swatsworth who survives along with 6 children. Ricky A. “Whitey” Swatsworth, Michelle Mayhew and husband Tim and Brian K. Swatsworth and fiancée’ Jeanette McGarry all of Curwensville, Pamela Stewart and husband Lee of Clarion, Kimberly Swatsworth and companion Don Shawley of Irvona, and Lisa Mick and husband Jim of Glen Richey.Also surviving are 4 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren, a brother and 3 sisters. Raymond Graham and wife Barb of Glen Richey, Ada Bain of Hyde, Donna Evans and husband Rick of Madera, and Connie Rowles of Clearfield.She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Dicky Swatsworth, a granddaughter Mary Moore, a brother Robert Graham, and 2 sisters Harriet Goodrow and Esther Rougeux .Funeral Services for Mrs. Swatsworth will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend George W. Solley officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville RD.Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday March 6 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and Wednesday from 9:30 AM until time of sevices.Contributions may be made to the family in care of the Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. 300 State St. Curwensville, PA 16833Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chidboyfuneralhome.com.
