Obituary for Stephanna Rumsky
Stephanna Rumsky, 87, of Clearfield, passed away Friday December 21, 2018 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born January 4, 1931 in Ginter, PA, she was the daughter of Anthony and Katherine (Refalsky) Jacoby. She had been a counter clerk for the former Chubby’s Dry Cleaners in Clearfield, and had also worked at the former Clearfield County Children’s Home. She was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield.
On June 29, 1968 at the St. Mary’s Ukranian Catholic Church in Ramey, PA she wed Francis Harry Rumsky who preceded her in death on June 21, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Ann Beiter, Helen Lackey and Frances Frankovich and a brother Joseph Jacoby.
Surviving is a daughter Charmaine Rumsky of Pittsburgh, two sisters Dorothy Florentino of South Plainfield, NJ and Marian Bagrosky of Osceola Mills, two brothers Louis Jacoby and wife Lucille of Ramey and Richard Jacoby and wife Phyllis of Warren, PA, a sister-in-law Pearl Rumsky of Glen Richey and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield on Wednesday December 26, 2018 at 1:30 PM, with Msgr. Henry Krebs as celebrant. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the St. Francis Education Endowment Fund 212 S. Front St. Clearfield, PA 16830 or .Parkinson's Foundation of Western PA 575 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202
