Obituary for Vivian Jean Miccicke
Vivian Jean Miccicke, 69, of Hyde, passed away Thursday July 8, 2021 at her residence.
Born August 5, 1951 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Clifford Sr. and Geraldine (Rowles) Hamilton. Mrs. Miccicke had been a school bus driver in both Reading and Clearfield and had been a nurse’s aid both at the Clearfield Hospital and private duty.
She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Clearfield, and a member of the Clearfield Eagles Auxiliary.
On October 9, 1979 in Mohnton, PA, she wed Peter Miccicke who preceded her in death on July 14, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister Helen Lewis.
Surviving are 5 stepchildren: Kathleen and Husband Todd; Salvator “Pete” and wife Gail; Joy Marie; Angela; and Michelle and husband Dave. Also surviving are 10 step-grandchildren, numerous step great grandchildren; and three brothers: Rev. Clifford Hamilton Jr. and wife Patty of Erie; Rev. David Hamilton and wife Glenda of Burnt Cabins; and John “Jack” Hamilton and wife Sharon of Glen Richey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her dog “Cuddles”.
Also surviving is her life-long care-giver and best friend Heather Hoover and another caregiver and good friend Kenneth “Sonny” Edwards.
Funeral Services for Vivian Miccicke will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday July 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with the Reverends Clifford Hamilton and David Hamilton co-officiating. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery in Glen Richey.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Orphans of the Storm * 412 Hill Street * Curwensville, PA 16833.
