Obituary for William L. (Bill) Waring
William L. “Bill” Waring, 68, went to be with our Lord on Thursday October 31, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center in DuBois, PA.
 
Born September 2, 1945 in Clearfield the son of George Allen and Ethel Waring.  Bill loved family, fishing, hunting, woodworking, outdoors, and all brothers of the Knepp Camp.  He was a lifetime member of the 2nd ward Hose Company of Clearfield, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield and attended the Hepburnia United Methodist Church in Grampian.
 
Surviving is his wife the former Carolyn L. McDonald, a son William L. Waring Jr. and daughters Evette Shaw and husband Timothy and Angel Scribe and husband Samuel all of Curwensville.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren Ashlee Standifer, Joshua Shaw, Curtis Shaw, Kyle Scribe, Garrett Shaw, Hanna Shaw, Damien Bennett (Williamsport) and Jackson Scribe and 2 great grandchildren Riley Standifer and Grace Shaw.
 
In addition he is survived by siblings George Waring, Charles Waring and wife Laureen, Elisabeth Waring and Ginger Swanson as well as 15 nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Emily McKee and Dorothy DuFour.
 
Mr. Waring chose to donate his body to science so there will be no public visitation.
 
There will be a memorial service held on Monday November 4, 2013 at 6 PM at the Hepburnia United Methodist in Grampian.  The family will be receiving friends and family at the church prior to the service from 4 to 6 PM.
