Obituary for Mary Antoinette Hudson
Mary Antoinette Hudson, 88, a resident of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday November 24, 2009 at the Nursing Center.

Born March 9, 1921 in Casamasima, Italy she was the daughter of Michael Angelo and Rose (Massara) Catalano.  She was employed by MacGregor’s and Kent’s Sportswear as a seamstress.  She was a member of the St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

On July 1, 1950 in Curwensville she wed Eugene John Hudson who preceded her in death along with her parents, a son Gregory Hudson, 2 infant sisters and a brother Martin Catalano.

She is survived by a daughter in law Sharon Hudson, 2 granddaughters Bonnie R. Hudson and Colleen A. Hudson all of Clearfield.  Also surviving are 2 brothers Roy Catalano and his wife Rose, and Angelo Catalano and his wife Victoria, and a sister Christine Prazinko Stephenson and her husband Clarence, all of Curwensville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Monday, November 30, 2009, at St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville with Father Mark J. Mastrian as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.

Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Sunday November 29, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Monday from 9-9:30 AM. The Rosary will be recited at 3:00 PM Sunday with a Scripture Vigil Service to be held at 7:30 PM Sunday, both at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church 306 Walnut Street Curwensville, PA  16833
